Acceptance
By creating an account or using EvidenceKeeper™ ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What EvidenceKeeper is — and is not
EvidenceKeeper is a tool to help you document observable facts, preserve evidence, and generate organized reports. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Justice, our AI Documentation Coach, helps you separate facts from interpretation but cannot give legal opinions. Always consult a qualified attorney for legal matters.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password and Vault PIN confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.
Your content
You retain full ownership of everything you upload. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to record and store the material you add, and for complying with the laws that apply to you.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans (Standard and Litigator Pro) are billed on a recurring basis. Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe; purchases made through a mobile app store are processed by that store (managed via RevenueCat) and are subject to the store's terms. Free trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to store unlawful content or to harass, defraud, or harm others. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Herrell Homestead LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical records.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
